On the fence
Picked up a bag of this Harvest Delight when I first got my new little mini flock. It kind of looks and smells like hamster food, to be honest. There were a few bits like the dried tomatoes that my girls didn’t even touch, but it did have a pretty good variety of other little bits, including peanuts, which I thought was pretty interesting to have included.Not sure if I will pick up another bag at some point due to the amount that they did not consume.

Nobody likes the orange colored pieces!

My birds absolutely love this!
I have been using this product for 7 years and my chickens absolutely love this. My husband and I use this product for their daily scratch and are very picky about what they eat. They of course don’t eat the pellets. I can’t ever get them to try that. Maybe it’s the taste? I like feeding my chickens a verity of stuff and they have this as a main scratch. My girls are getting older and have specific needs to be filled and can’t always have oats and corn anymore. (Vet’s advice) But this is a great healthy treat. Yes this is a night pic of my indoor birds. The one in front is Silky and yes she flipped the worm bottle.

Nice addition to the diet
We treat our hens to a varied diet from egg layer feed to veggies, scratch, soldier fly larva, etc, and free range a few hours a day. I like to add a little bit of the treat mix to their scratch or sometimes as a stand alone treat when I have to round them up and get them back in their run. They love it and come running when they know they’ll get a tasty snack. The package size is a little small but it’s loaded with healthy seeds and nuts and a little bit goes a long ways.

Great mix, too pricey
This is a fantastic mix of scratch grains, seeds, lentils and dried fruit & veggies. The chickens gobbled it up. It smells fantastic too. It’s just too pricey for the amount you get. I’d love to keep buying this, but it’s just too expensive.

It asks fir stars on flavor. I, personally have not tried it, but my chickens love it! To get more out of my money, I mix it wil there scratch. It makes it go further. The smell is really ice too. Not over powering, Good for my girls!

I can’t see what is special about this feed. But man oh ma. My 14 chickens, Leghorns and Amberlinks follow me around and rapidly devour this stuff.They come running to me every afternoon when I go out to talk to them. Knowing I bring them this treat every evening. I don’t recommend it.But 14 Chickens give it a 5 star restaurant rating!

My flock is such a beautiful part of my world so much that I want to give them lot of love and an amazing life while they’re here. Treats are a huge joy to them and giving them yummy, healthy goodies is what I want for them. I’ve been mixing a bag of these treats along with regular scratch and meal worms for over a year and they are the happiest birds! It’s a great mix of seeds, dried fruit, veggies and herbs. The price is so much better than what I get at my local feed store and shipping has always been pretty fast. I always try to stock up to make sure the flock never has to go without😊I recommend!!

I buy this as a thank you to the ladies down the road. Their owner is a very nice kiddo who raises eggs to sell for pocket cash. We buy eggs so I occasionally send treats for the girls along with our monthly egg money.

Picky hens hard to say
This blend seems to be very nice although I have only 2 hens and 1 I hardly see eating since she’s consumed with sitting all the time. My other hen gives me the 🧿 with deep sounding demands and only wants the meat (grubs) and will start eating in disgust when I walk away. But I think on the sly she likes the treat mix. LoL.

Hens ate it but didn’t go crazy for it
Well, I don’t know how it tastes but the hens wouldn’t try it except one who spit it out of her beak. Guess it’s gross? Maybe I got a bad batch? All I know is bird food that birds won’t eat isnt good and pricier bird treats that are loathed by birds is just an unfortunate waste of money. Of course I can’t return it now that I’ve opened it and the chickens and wild birds hate it. Bummer. I wished they liked it. ***updated, tried it again mixed it’s scratch and they ate it. They didn’t go crazy for it but it was tolerated. Wasn’t the “treat” I was expecting for them.
