Perfect for training!
These treats are small enough for larger horses that I’ve been using them as little trick training treats. I can fit a handful in my pocket, and the more food-motivated horses have been loving it!

Our Pigs Love These Peanut Butter Cookie Treats
I have put these treats on our monthly subscription now for our pigs. They love them. The cookies are a good texture and size so they can safely chew them. These treats also don’t grow larger when they get wet, so it’s not a choking hazard like other pig treats that I’ve had somehow enlarged when they got eaten. The price and availability is also perfect as to I have had problems finding them at stores sometimes.

Pig-Preferred
I never thought I’d have my pig drop a treat and not eat it (or very reluctantly) but when this bag is an option, she’ll drop the other brand’s blueberry treats for these in a heartbeat. She likes these better so we keep these on subscription order and stopped buying the other ones completely. I noticed our local supply store (which carries both) is always out of these and the others are always available so I guess mine is not the only pig who likes them better.

Loved by neighbor’s Mini Hereford’s
My neighbors got 2 Mini Hereford’s, and they said I was welcome to give them treats and love on them. I didn’t know what to feed cows, so I looked on Amazon. They come running when I walk toward them. They have even started to moo when they see me.

Hide pill pieces in holes for picky donkey
Our 24 year old donkey has to take Prascend and Equicoxx daily. We have tried many ways to give them to her, she will be good for a while then suddenly she realizes there is medicine in her treats. With these I take the quarter of pill, cut into two pieces and jam the piece into the hole. Put in her bowl with the pill side facing down and she is eating them. Of course since I’ve just written this she will most likely turn her nose up at them like she did after I showed how we hid her pills in kale pieces.

Mini pig
Our mini pig loves them. It’s is how we have potty trained him but also he can be anywhere on the property and I yell “Jake, you want a cookie?” He comes running every time. If he’s in the house he knows what jar they are by the sound of the glass and will come sprinting into the kitchen to receive his prize even if I accidentally bump it.

Donkeys, the pig & the goat LOVE these things! One donkey who had never eaten out of my hand, took the treat from me. Amazing. They smell wonderful…haven’t actually tried one yet, but by the reactions, I’m guessing they must be good. Will buy again.

Unchewable
Pygmy Goats eat everything… except these cookies. It’s not for lack of trying. They will eagerly do their trick, then gobble the cookie out of my hand, work it around their mouth for about 30 seconds, then give up and spit it out. MY GOATS HAVE NEVER SPIT ANYTHING OUT OF THEIR MOUTH BEFORE! Even though my Pygmy goats are fully grown adults, I thought maybe the cookie was simply too big for their little faces, so I tried to break the cookie in half. That’s when I realized these cookies are the same density as a hockey puck. I tied cutting the cookie – ever try slicing a brick with a kitchen knife? Putting the cookie in a vice then smashing it with a hammer eventually worked but then I was too afraid that the goats would choke on the pieces. I put a new whole cookie in the goat water trough to soften it up or at least let it dissolve so the goats could enjoy cookie-flavored water. The cookie was still an entire cookie sitting at the bottom of their water trough the next morning NINE HOURS LATER! The goats seemed to think these cookies would be delicious, but ultimately the cookies just confused them which made me feel like a terrible goat mom.

Donkey loved them
Honestly, the ingredients are great. But despite the ingredients these didn’t smell too good or on parr with the ingredients, they didn’t smell bad – just not like much! So I was surprised when our donkey went WILD for them. Couldn’t get enough. They’re small and easy to give as treats here and there. I will say our horse was not as impressed. She liked them but was not nearly as excited as our donkey – not sure why that is! Bag is decent size and a nice option to mix it up once in a while

Horse wasn’t as impressed
I wanted to get smaller sizes treats for my horse because I wanted to feed less treats while still rewarding him. He wasn’t as enthusiastic about these as he is any other treat. He normally is very excited when receiving a treat, but this one, it was kind of a mundane reaction from him. He had a “take it or leave it” type of attitude, and to test that theory, I brought out his usual treats that are much larger and he was very excited about those.These are perfect! If you’re looking to give your horse something smaller to be healthier. And their ideal for miniature donkeys and miniature horses. We also have a miniature donkey who enjoyed them.

Bambi Loves These Treats
I ordered the Manna Pro Farmhouse Favorites as a treat for a 2-year-old forked-horn blacktail buck who resides on my property. He freely wanders the neighborhood but normally can be found bedded down on my 7.5 acres with a year-round creek and lush grass. I have left other treats and I was able to watch him eagerly nibble on these treats.I trust MannaPro products and they are readily available in our local feed, seed, and tractor supply businesses. There are a lot of treats in this 3-pound bag since I only put out a small handful each time. What I like about the Manna Pro Farmhouse Favorites are the good ingredients that are not as sweet as some of the treats I leave out. The bag is resealable with a best-used date of July 2025. When I first open the bag I get the smell of freshly baked wheat bread.Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. My Neigh-bor’s Horse Loves Them
I don’t have a horse but live next to two of them. Penned up all day every day pretty much anything gets them excited, even just me in the back yard. They run up to the fence hoping for some interaction. They are often disappointed when I have nothing for them so I got these.Both will eat them but the bigger one is far more eager. Can’t be sure if it’s these little biscuits or that he’s getting some attention. Keeping these large intelligent animals as pets that you spend maybe a half hour a day with seems cruel to me.I hope an allegedly healthy little biscuit a few times a week makes their life a little better.Of course I asked the owner if it was okay to feed these to her horses before I did that.

My Mini Pig LOVES These, 10 Star Product
The mini horse and donkey treats are my mini pigs new favorite treat. She comes running when she hears the bag. Apples and bananas are her favorite fruit treats and these horse treats have both of them in them. The size is perfect like a thick nickle and I give her about 6 at a time. She just really loves them and the way she came running when she heard the bag was the most excited and fastest I have ever seen her run. These taste amazing to her. I feed her MannaPro potbelly pig food and this is a brand I trust. I see they have a new peanut butter mini pig treats out too so I definitely need to get a bag of those when we reorder these. I recommend these highly. A 10 star product.

To be fair, when I first saw this, all I saw of 3lbs and treats… I didn’t realize they were for small horses and donkeys. But the ingredient list was easy to look up and I found no reason my dogs couldn’t also enjoy them. They love them. They get two each morning following their breakfast. I love the natural ingredients and I like to think of my American Bully as a miniature donkey anyway.

It smells soo yummy.
Normally I taste everything in order to be able to write a proper review, but I’m not willing to taste horse treats. The smell alone is great and the horses love them. They smell so fresh.I am giving these to my friend’s work horses. They’re not exactly mini horses. In fact, they’re huge but they love treats just as well.I love the size of the treats and with such a big bag, this will last quite a while.The bag can be resealed easily after opening, which I am grateful for.The treats also have a very decent shelf life, about a year and a half.I’m happy and the horses are happy.

My mini loves them
I’ve been looking for a treat that would be good for my mini pony Dakota and was pleased when he ate them up so quickly. I also gave some to my goats and even though It didn’t say goat they of course loved them as well. They smell like apple banana right out of the bag. I love that it’s a big size and a good value. Treats!
My neighbor has horses. I don’t usually have anything handy to give as a treat for them so I was glad to sample these treats. When I walked over to one of my horse buddies holding these goodies and extendedy hand, he gave them a sniff and eagerly ate them. The next time I saw her, she seemed to be more excited to see me and trotted over with no hesitation, probably in anticipation of receiving more.Based on these observations and the ingredients profile as well as company reputation, I think these are a great choice for horses and donkeys.

Perfect Training Treats!
My horse loves these small treats. I tap on the back of his knee and he leans his head under and between his legs in a bow to retrieve it. Perfect training treats! Smell fresh, lightweight and compact for a bag or pocket and will last a long time. Definitely will purchase again. Time to learn a new trick!

Simple, quality ingredients
I like how big the bag is! Before giving the treats to the animals I opened the bag and took a big sniff. They smell freshly baked! I like that these mini horse and mini donkey treats are made with limited ingredients, like wheat, alfalfa, oats, sugar, vegetable oil. The recipe is very similar to one I would make at home. Very pleased!

Pleasant smell and intact pieces in the bag (not a lot of crumbled or broken bits)
These treats have a pleasant smell, so I think they probably have a good taste. The pieces are circles that are an inch across, and about a quarter of an inch thick. My only concern is that they do have artificial flavors. Since that’s the last item on the ingredient list, there can’t be too much in there, so I’m not too worried about it, but I do wish they’d just left that out.

I live in a small farm community where children and visitors are encouraged to come feed the animals. I ordered this giant, 3lb bag of mini horse and donkey treats, to do just that! Treats are small, smell fresh, and I can only assume, taste delicious. Any animal that approached us, gobbled them up, the bag is resealable. And my dog loves them too! Great price!

Delicious
Fun fact: just about all animal feed is required by law to be safe for human consumption.So, I tried these myself and they’re a bit bland at first, but delicious, nonetheless. They crunch easily & have a pleasant aftertaste. I think your mini horse or donkey will love these, because humans started out as herbivores (hence our long digestive tract), meaning a lot of our tastebuds are the same as many ungulates, especially domestic ones.These are loaded with good food stuffs that will have your little hoofer trotting happily.

I personally haven’t tried these but, I have some donkeys that seem to really love these little snacks.I just shake the bag and they both came running for a small handful of goodies they get daily.Bag size is big enough to last a good 2 weeks. Maybe a bit longer or shorter. Hard to tell using for first time.
