The chickens all go crazy for this stuff when I put it in their run. I sprinkle it in different places and they scratch all around for it. It helps me too because they turn over the pine bark mulch and their poo when they are getting their treats. I can then later use it for compost in the garden. It also keeps them busy as we can only free range the chickens when we are home due to hawks so they get rather bored in their run.
