There’s nothing wrong with these worms! Great price, worms were not crushed, love the resealable bag. These were recommended as a great source of calcium for wild birds, but my wild birds won’t touch them (house finches, blue jays, starlings, mourning doves, black-capped chickadees, northern cardinals, house sparrows). I’ll go back to dried mealworms in my feeders – those always disappear quickly.

These are a tasty treat for my hedgehog, and has more balanced nutrition than mealworms. My hedgie gets 5-10 worms every 24-48 hours, so this 1 pound bag will last for a looong time. I sprinkle a few of them into a cardboard box full of pom-poms so she has to “hunt” for them. Helps keep her busy and active.

Arrived fast and packaged well in a sturdy recloseable bag. They are freeze dried larve, so of course some are broken/crushed; but most are whole or nearly so. Odor is kind of nutty, and not too strong. Price per ounce is much less than mealworms.I won’t be putting out our bluebird feeder for a few weeks, so I don’t know if the birds will love them, but my son fed a few to his large oscar and parrot fish and they were crazy about them.Definitely planning to buy these again if the bluebirds and other birds in my yard like them.!

The birds absolutely loved these. I had no issues with the product whatsoever!

LOL! We bought these for wild birds that come to our feeder. I’m not really sure they are eating them, though. What DOES love them is a wild opossum that comes by our house almost every night triggering our doorbell camera, sniffing around in the flower beds. Crazy thing comes by and will eat all the dried soldier worms that I put on the ground. She can’t get enough! LOL! I don’t think I’ll be purchasing again because the wild birds aren’t eating them, but I’m glad they aren’t going to waste. Haha! They look like a quality product, nice and uniform and in great condition. I will have to find something else to spoil our wild birds.

I chose soldier worms for a portion of my balcony garden feed because I observed a mating pair of mocking birds nesting nearby. I began feeding with small amounts in a feeder they preferred to visit. Upon learning about the new feed other birds began to visit the feeder as well. Soon I had a chorus of songbirds and visitors which consumed the offering within minutes. I’ve increased the amount to half a cup of worms mixed within my bird seed mixture. This has slowed the consumption significantly while still enticing my avian guests to visit. What I most like about the soldier worms is the resealable closure. The worms have a unique scent and dust particulate which I don’t wish to breathe in. The resealable closure keeps the worms dry, the dust contained, and the scent out of my home. What I don’t like is the dust particulate. It seems to be from crushed worms during processing. They’re dehydrated so an point in manufacture, shipping, and storage can create the dust. While I’m not keen on live soldier worms perhaps less dehydrated would eliminate this problem?Oh, the picture is of Merlin a baby squirrel who loves carrots, soldier worms, and strawberries. He knocks on my windows to tell me when the birds have eaten all the worms. Absolutely adorable baby.
I Received my 500 worm’s yesterday and they were all alive, they were packaged very well, and were still cool from the cooling pack they had put in with the worms. I’m very pleased with product and will be buying more worms from them in the future. –
Soldier worms are lower priced than others and are well sized. My chickens go nuts when I give them to them. They love them. I’ve bought a bigger bag of them since these and will continue buying as needed. I recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. My neighbor gave me as a gift these chickens, and they absolutely love these mealworms !Recommend !

My chickens were happy to see some worms mixed in with their usual feed as a little treat. I had to hide them in an opaque container though because they give me the heebie jeebies

I have a young rooster that I want to tame before he gets nasty. I got these treats specifically for the job, but all the chickens just love them! Bae-B rooster comes running right up to me now, is eating out of my hand, and I’m able to hold and pet him. This is a nice big bag too! I store it in the house, and there is absolutely no smell or anything. These treats are perfect!
