Great probiotic!
After a full treatment of Gastrogard for my horse with ulcers, my vet suggested I keep him on a daily probiotic. I did a lot of research and decided on Equa Holistics probiotic. My horse has no problem eating the probiotic (I top dress on his morning grain) and so far, he is doing wonderful!

Healthy and Happy
I have a warm blood who can be a bit nervous, so I like to have her on something to support digestion. While she didn’t have any serious problems to start, we were able to transition her right onto this supplement without any issues. I feel better knowing she has some digestive support. Great product for normal digestion

Eliminated diarhhea in my older gelding
This product is a keeper eliminated diarrhea in my older horse and I give it to my younger horse for ulcer prevention. I have tried other products but this one has the most beneficial bacteria and works. Both horses have no problem eating it.

Great for digestive issues
This product worked great to help reset my geldings digestive track, he has a rough year last year witg stress, and this has really helped to reset his gut, along with a few other products. The ONLY product that helps Equine Chronic Diarrhea!
I used several other products and “natural” remedies. Nothing worked. Tried this and it worked. A while later I figured he was “cured”, so I stopped using it. Guess what? It came back! Started him on it again and diarrhea gone! I’m going to use this long-term. It’s very affordable, the bucket lasts a while, and again… It works!

Help at last!

This really works!
After trying a much more expensive probiotic recommended by my vet that did not work, I did some online research and found this! Based on reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I am happy to report that my 21+ year-old gelding’s chronic loose manure is much improved! He still has an occasional issue due to poor hay quality, but overall this product has worked wonders!! He doesn’t hesitate to chow down on his feed, so I’m guessing it tastes and smells good to him! I am going to make sure I never run out of this! It’s truly made a huge difference!

IT WORKS FOR ME!

Fantastic!
Now I gave flavor a 5 star as well but I cant exactly tell you the flavor is great since I never tasted it BUT my horses have NEVER refused to eat it.I also gave it a 5 stars overall because it works!! Here’s how I know….I’ve tried a lot of probiotics out there and this one is the first to show results. When my older horses gets loose stools, it takes only 2 feedings to firm them up. Also, when I see the birds snacking on manure, I know he’s not absorbing as much nutrients as he should be…too many leftovers for the birds. Again, when this happens, it takes about 4-5 feedings and the birds leave it alone.So there you have it! This stuff is great, it works, and the quality shows. Thanks for making a product that works!!

Works for fecal water syndrome!
My older pony has health problems and has had an awful case of fecal water syndrome for 1 1/2 years. I was constantly cleaning the poor thing; a grey at that! I tried every probiotic I could find. Fixed my loose stool issues in under a week.
This is a solid product. It’s easy to use, my picky TB likes the flavor of it, and after struggling with his poops being runny or making cow patties for months this product after less than a week had his poops healthy and normal. Great Stuff!
Every year my Mare gets diarrhea when she switches from pasture to hay. I’ve tried different hays, supplements, grains, etc., without much effect. Since starting her on Healthy Gut, she has gone from liquid farts, to starting to form actual turds; and this is with only getting the supplement once a day. I’m impressed, and relieved to have finally found a product that works for her.

Has helped my horse
I have an OTTB who has struggled with loose manure and weight loss since the beginning of winter. We put him on this product with the hopes that it would help his gut and digestion. My 4yo Ottb was losing weight fast as soon as the grass died this fall. My trainer and I tried various things but I really believe this probiotic had helped him gain weight. I think his gut needed some support in order to properly utilize what he was eating. After doing some research I also think the ingredients are excellent for the cost.

helped my old horse
I have an elderly quarter horse who has had a problem with leaky feces for a number of years. I have tried many things – most work for a while. This product has been doing fine for quite a while – no more washing her tail and butt. My vet says this problem is often caused by the large intestine not working adequately to remove the excess fluid. This product has prebiotics in addition to probiotics. I think this makes the difference, as I have used various probiotics before, which did not work as well.

Didn’t work for me
I have a horse with occasional loose stool and I have tried other probiotics and gut medications with no success and so I decided to give this a try but it never helped a bit even given at the maximum strength suggested on the instructions, they claimed it was a 90 supply but if you follow their instruction amount for a 1200 horse you will get less than 30 days

Best Probiotic We Have Found
I have tried some of the other probiotics and they did not work. This one helped a Senior mare with runny stools which was affected by stress from moving, seasonal changes, and re-establishing flora after worming. We even used it on our friend’s horse who has always had runny stools while she owned her. It had gone to watery because of pregnancy and the odor was horrible. Mare had solid stools for the first time in 3 years and the smell was normal! Made a believer out of her too.

Worth Every Penny!!!
Outstanding product. When we got our horse from the rescue we knew he had a lot of issues, one being really bad diarrhea without the daily use of a probiotic. The probiotic the rescue had been giving him was barely working to resolve the problem. All I seemed to do was wash his butt. It was horrible for all. Finally, I stumbled on Equaholistics and this outstanding probiotic. He takes it daily with his food and has literally never had a problem since! Very highly recommend!

Noticeable difference
I saw this product and talked with the owner at the Sacramento Horse Expo in 2019. My horse’s massage and pemf therapist even suggested I use this product, more so on my 28yr old. Vet said it was also a good idea. Highly recommend this! It is more expensive than I’d like to pay as it only lasts 30 days for 2 horses, feeding one scoop per day but worth it for my old guy.

Great pro/pre biotic
I started my almost 3 year old on this after he was gelded and had an infection, he developed diarrhea from the antibiotics. As long as I keep him on this product he is staying healthy. I’ve purchased the 30 day supply and it worked so I now purchase the 90 day supply and will continue as long as he needs it. Works really well for him.

Great Product!
This probiotic really works. I have three horses with soft or watery manure. My vet can’t find any reason for it. When I use this regularly, all the problems go away. Sometimes life has happened and they haven’t gotten it for a period of time and the problems return. I get back on schedule and it goes away again so I am convinced this product really works. I am so glad to have found something that really helps my horses.

I purchased this because I was looking for a probiotic that had S. boulardii. My horse has struggled with free fecal water on and off for two years, which usually happens with changes to hay or pasture grass (rye). He previously had two antibiotic treatments for lyme disease, which I think upset his microbiome. I added this probiotic along with another digestive supplement, and he has not had dribbling down his white legs the past month. Just purchased again!

A great place to start for just about any problem!
I use this product to relieve symptoms of everything from diarrhea to laminitis. I rescued a little mare last year who had worms, after chemically deworming her I fed this product along with an herbal worm cleanse. Her body changed from being “pot bellied” to looking like a beautiful little horse. I also use it for my old mare to prevent and treat “leaky gut” and ulcers. Probiotics also benefit laminitis and it is a good idea to feed them for prevention and treatment.

Our mare at times would have gastro issues when changing hay, since it’s difficult to purchase consistent hay, and possibly from travel anxieties. Since starting this product roughly a year ago, the loose stools have greatly subsided. I recommend any to try this product.

Finally a solution!
Not to be gross but my horse has had a problem with wet diarrhea and shooting liquid out of his butt. Horrible! I was washing his poop encrusted butt legs and tail every day. They call me the butt lady at the barn. Tried quite a few remedies but no luck. Then I found the Healthy Gut maintenance Probiotics. It’s a powder and I mix it in a bit of applesauce along with 2 handfuls of hay stretcher. He gobbles it up. It takes awhile to see results. Maybe a month or two. I give it to him everyday and no more diarrhea. And no more liquid shooting out of his butt. Once in awhile there is a tiny bit of wetness when he farts but I just wipe him off with a damp towel. Such a pleasure for me and also I’m sure he feels better in his belly. Give it a try.

Love these probiotics!
Love these probiotics! It’s hard to find a probiotics that also contains prebiotics, so I was sold when I found these for my horse. One little scoop is easy to dose, and my horse eats the powder just fine. I also started using this probiotic for my dog, to help with her digestive issues, and they’ve been helping her considerably. Horses like the way this tastes!
I have two older horses who are more than a bit picky about their food and supplements. I bought this to help their general health and to hopefully avoid instances of colic. I was completely ready to see both of them stick their noses up and not eat their ‘dinner’ when I added this to their grain. Totally to my surprise, they gobbled it all up! I don’t know whether it tastes good or whether there is no taste at all but adding this product to their food was a complete non-issue. I feel much better knowing they are getting quality probiotics and enjoying their food at the same time.
