My Horses love these treats
They taste good! The horses chase me when they see the bucket of Nickerdoodles coming. They are nice and soft and easy to form around a pill. Or squish 2 together for more than one pill. Quite affordable too. They do not fall apart but you can crumble one up to add to a feed they’re not too keen on eating. My mare gobbles her pellets down when I crumble one Nickerdoodle in the pail.

The BEST treats to hide meds in
These treats turned me from the “mean lady that makes me eat bad tasting stuff” to “our hero!! She brings me the best tasting snacks every day!!!!!”Seriously I run a horse rescue and these treats have been a game changer for giving meds. They stay moist and soft and stick together. Allowing you to easily mold the treat around even huge pills. Even our pickiest equines will exuberantly eat these treats out of our hands and they don’t even notice the meds.They are also a small business so you can feel good supporting hard working people’s family and dream. They also use whole ingredients. Highly recommend!

Great for the price
So I was using a different brand of these and thought I’d try this brand of horse pill poppers out for my mule. These are great and I won’t go back to the other brand! They stay fresh for a long time and you only need 1/3 of the treat broken off for a pill so the value is good. They smell so good I want to eat them lol. My mule loves em!

Horses love them!
My horses really love these. I tore each biscuit up into 4-5 little balls to give as training treats. Even my mare who doesn’t usually like sweet things went crazy for these. Will absolutely be purchasing again.

These are the BEST I have found
They are soft and easy to work with. I break in half to put a half of a previcox.They mold so easy and DON’T crumble. I have tried so many brands I will never buy any other brand for my horses.I like how snug the lid is, this is probably the secret to their success.Excellent product please continue to make.

Horse loves them.
Have a horse with Cushings, and this is the best thing I’ve found to hide pills in. They stay moist, and don’t crumble. The only issue I’ve had is the lid to the bucket. It’s extremely hard to open. I guess that’s so they stay moist, but doesn’t work for these old hands. I transfer some into another bucket that’s easier to open. My horse absolutely loves them. With his condition, he probably shouldn’t have something molasses-based, but I’d rather get the pills down him.

Horses Love These Treats But…
I have ordered these several times. Horses and burros LOVE them. BUT..it is May 2023. The expiration date on the bottom of the pail that arrived today is November 2022 and the pail came with a Christmas ribbon on it! I am not one to complain but this is the second time since Christmas I have received an expired pail with a Christmas ribbon. I grew up near where these treats are made and have been a loyal customer. Please in the future do not send me expired pails with Christmas ribbons. Thank you.

Horses LOVE
My horses love these. They will hunt them down try to get the bin open where they are kept. Nice and soft. No crumbling, no plastic wrapper to carry around. Very easy to conceal a pill in. Keep the container sealed tight and they will stay nice and soft.

My horse loves them!
I recently had to put my mare on Equioxx. After reading the reviews, I decided to give Nicker Doodles a try to hide her pill in. They are soft and break apart easily. My mare loves them and meets me at the gate every morning for her treat! Works perfect! They are a little pricey but makes giving her pill a piece of cake. I break them apart and one treat is good for 3 days. Will definately purchase again.

Horses went bonkers
My daughter and her husband have 2 horses and they absolutely loved these treats. They whinnied for more. The treats we gave before the refused to eat, sniffed them and turned away but when they were offered these they immediately ate them. I have them on repeat order.

Great treat – packaging is a little wasteful
No need for the plastic bucket – a bag would suffice and create much less waste (and also be easier to open and reseal to close). Other than that, these are soft, good-sized treats that my horse really seems to enjoy.

Great to wrap around your horse’s bit
I bought these for my young mare. She is just starting training and I used these as regular treats, but also to wrap around her bit to create positive experiences of learning to accept a bit in her mouth. They smell really good, she seems to love them.

Love the fact these are soft and can be molded around a pill or even make it as a treat that last longer by breaking it apart. I have had to treat my horse with medicine and the other pill pockets did not work at all. Both of our horses love them as treats as well!! Love that these are made in USA and by a veteran owned company. I will continue to support!!

They are not a pill pocket.
Please note that they do not have a dimple or pocket to place pills. They fall apart when you try to stick a pill inside. They smell wonderful but are truly a treat.

Condensation inside container.
There was condensation on the inside of the lid. This product was not sealed tight. I am not comfortable feeding to my horse. My horse loves these and I love giving them to her but not this bucket.

Horses love these. But, be careful when you get them. I wasn’t, and got ripped off.If you order the 5-pound tub, you can randomly get 1-pound and even 8-oz tubs. That is, there seems to be a labeling issue at the manufacturer. You can literally pay $36 for about eight treats in a tiny, sample/gift-sized tub. (It’s marked 5 pounds, but it’s only 8-oz). Looking back at what’s arrived, have found 3, maybe 4, instances of the smaller sizes substituted for the 5-pound tub.
